FastReport VCL提供了创建报表所需的所有工具，包括报表引擎，可视化的报表设计器，预览窗口，对话框设计工具，以及Pascal-like 宏解释程序。
它可用于在Embarcadero（比如Borland和CodeGear）Delphi 7-XE8和C++Builder 2005-XE8、Embarcadero RAD Studio 10 Seattle等开发工具中。
从2.4版本开始使用FR，后来因为它对中文支持不太好而转向了ReportMachine。其实ReportMachine也是源于FastReport，不过最近发现找不到ReportMachine的网站了，也不知道还更新不更新。再回过头看FastReport，也完全能够满足日常的要求了。

The Library contains several components and objects.
TDBGridEh component
TDBGridEh provides all functionality of TDBGrid
and adds several new features as follows:
Allows to select records, columns and rectangle areas.
Special titles that can correspond to several/all columns.
Footer that is able to show sum/count/other field values.
Automatic column resizing to set grid width equal client width.
Ability to change row and title height.
Allows automatic broken of a single line long title and data row
to a multiline.
Title can act as button and, optionally show a sort marker.
Automatically sortmarking.
Ability to truncate long text with ellipsis.
Lookup list can show several fields.
Incremental search in lookup fields.
Frozen columns.
DateTime picker support for TDateField and TDateTimeField.
