PTP精确时钟同步协议，IEEE 1588标准有version 1和version 2两个版本，Version 1于2002年底发布，Version 2目前最新版本为IEEE1588－2008，它提供Version 1的所有功能，并针对Version 1的不足，做出了改善。
PTP协议实现时钟同步主要分为两个步骤：
1.建立同步体系，通过最佳主时钟算法，在整个同步系统中建立主从同步体系；
2.同步过程，通过交换PTP协议报文，计算并同步本地时钟。
